Business Models That Actually Work
Forget the usual business school fluff. We teach frameworks that real Australian companies use to build sustainable revenue streams and navigate market challenges that matter in 2025.

Learn Alongside People Who Get It
Our October 2025 cohort brings together 18 professionals who've all hit that same wall—the one where traditional business advice stops making sense for what they're trying to build.
You'll spend twelve weeks working through real case studies with people from different industries. Someone who solved a pricing problem in retail might crack open your thinking about SaaS margins. And yeah, those connections stick around long after the program wraps.
Small Group Structure
Four or five people per working group means you actually contribute instead of hiding in the back
Mixed Experience
Founders, consultants, and corporate strategists all bring different angles to the table
Weekly Sessions
Tuesday evenings plus optional Saturday workshops for deeper dives
Ongoing Network
Private community access continues after graduation for questions and collaboration
What You'll Actually Learn
We break down the eight business models that show up most often in profitable Australian companies. Not theoretical frameworks—patterns you'll recognize from businesses you already know.
Each week focuses on one model. You'll see how it works, where it breaks down, and when to combine multiple approaches for your specific situation.
- Revenue architecture that matches your market reality
- Cost structures that don't strangle growth
- Customer acquisition math that actually closes
- Pricing psychology beyond simple markup formulas
How Sessions Work
Tuesday evenings run 6:30 to 9pm at our Canberra location. We start with a 45-minute deep dive into one business model component, then break into groups to apply it.
You'll work with real anonymized data from Australian companies—sometimes they're success stories, sometimes cautionary tales. The goal isn't finding the right answer but developing judgment about trade-offs.
- Case study analysis with incomplete information
- Group presentations and peer feedback
- Q&A with practitioners who've built these models
- Optional homework to deepen specific skills
Building Skills That Transfer
This isn't about memorizing frameworks. We focus on developing judgment you can apply when the textbook answer doesn't fit your situation.
Pattern Recognition
You start seeing the underlying economics in businesses everywhere. That coffee shop's loyalty program? Subscription model fundamentals. Your software vendor's tiered pricing? Classic value capture design. These patterns become second nature.
Strategic Questions
More valuable than any framework is knowing which questions matter for your specific context. We teach you how to interrogate business models until you find the assumptions that need testing.
Practical Application
By week eight, you'll apply everything to your own business challenge. Some participants redesign their entire pricing structure. Others finally figure out why their customer acquisition isn't scaling. The insights are specific to your situation.
I've taken business courses before that felt disconnected from real decisions. This program gave me tools I used the following week. The peer feedback helped me see blind spots in my pricing model I'd been missing for two years.
Product Strategy Lead
The case studies forced us to make decisions with messy, incomplete data—just like real life. I appreciated that instructors didn't pretend there was always one correct answer. That nuance made the learning stick.
